The third annual Zoar Valley Fest is around the corner with a day full of festivities on May 10, beginning at 9 a.m. and running into the evening. The action takes place at Gateway Park, 241 Palmer St. in Gowanda.
Activities include kayaking, rafting, fishing, hiking, bus tours, kayak and SUP demos all day, and more.
Come hang out and have some fun on the water or join in one of the three races that will be held. Puts your paddling skills to the test in the raft race, the kayak race or the canoe race.
Peruse the vendors and enjoy live music throughout the day. Bands include Nick Kody and the Creek Road Band, the John Stoneman Band, and 2nd Time Around.
Zoar Valley Paddling club will hold a cookout fundraiser all day featuring sausage, burgers and hot dogs.
