The Ellicottville Chamber Thanks All Involved for Girls Getaway Success

A full village and fun had by so many women can mean only one thing for Ellicottville. The Girls Getaway Weekend was a huge success!

With a village full of women and business owners claiming to have one of the best weekends in a long time, it is safe to say the return of the event after a few years hiatus was a success. It wasn’t all fun and parties, however. Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce Events and Membership Manager, Barb Pump, said she and her committee would not have been able to make it work without the help of many of the shops and restaurants in the village.

“I want to give a special thank you to all that made Girls Getaway Weekend 2017 one to remember,” Pump said. “We truly appreciate all of the hard work and time that went into making the weekend the success it was.”

Event activities and sponsors included: Friday Night Sponsor HoganWillig, Ellicottvillas, Villaggio, The Winery of Ellicottville, Dina’s, and Finnerty’s, as well as Cadillac Jack’s, Canvas-N-Cocktails, Daff, and Ava Grace Fashions. Nature’s Remedy, Ameri-Can, Ellicottville Brewing Company, and Madigan’s also are on the list.

“I also want to thank the merchants that provided our guests with various specials and making them feel welcomed to our village,” Pump said.

Helping Pump make the weekend happen were committee members: Laura Solly, Jessica Maynard, Kristen Sciara, and Darlene Allen.
