Bring a non-perishable food item to Holiday Valley’s Sky High Adventure Park on Friday, Sep. 5 or Friday, Sept. 12 and receive an $8 discount on a three-hour climb.

There are 13 courses at Sky High, ranging from the easier yellows to the very challenging blacks and double blacks — something for everyone at any age. If you’ve ever considered trying this great adventure, here’s your chance!

Each climber is outfitted with a safety harness, must attend a safety briefing and visit a practice course before climbing in the actual park. Climbers then proceed to Sky High’s central platform where they select a course.

There are three yellow courses (Sunflower, Sunshine and Snapdragon), five greens (Forest Run, Mountain Trail, Grand Rapids I and Grand Rapids II and Fern Gully), two blues (Waterfall and Rip Tide), two single black diamonds (Black Storm and Black Widow) and one double black — The Commando!

All courses except Commando have at least one zip line and some have several. Grand Rapids is a dual zip line course that allows Sky High trekkers to go from the park to the base via six separate, side-by-side zip lines. There are two courses side by side, so you can have fun with a friend. The sixth and final zip travels down across the Tannenbaum base area to finish next to the Tannenbaum Lodge. It is an exciting end to this great adventure, to say the least!

Sky High is open Fridays through Sundays starting Sept. 5 through the remainder of the season. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Sept. 5 through Oct. 19, and from 11 a.m. to dusk from Oct. 24 through Nov. 2.

Special Night Crawlers night climbs will be available on Sept. 26–27, Oct. 3–4 and Oct. 17–18.
