A play on the “trunk or treat” event, this fun night provides a safe, controlled environment for children and families to trick or treat. GHD is located at 2535 Gowanda-Zoar Rd. in Gowanda.

The Rotary Club of Ellicottville and the American Legion are sponsoring their annual Community Halloween Party on Saturday, Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the American Legion on Maples Road in Ellicottville. Children ages 12 and under can trick or treat indoors and participate in games, crafts and hayrides (weather permitting). This fun, free evening is also a chance to support the community. Drop boxes will be located at the entrance to the American Legion to collect donated canned and dry foods for the Ellicottville Food Pantry.

If good old-fashioned, outdoor trick-or-treating is more up your alley, head out by the light of the Halloween moon in the Village of Ellicottville from 6-9 p.m. and get those bags and buckets filled with treats!

The 7th Annual Haunted Halloween Maze at the Cattaraugus Free Library takes place on Saturday, Oct. 31 from 4-9 p.m. Take some time out of your trick-or-treating to visit this indoor maze made with the library’s shelving.
