Almost as big a part of the season as the hustle and bustle of holiday shopping is the sound of people ringing that familiar bell, hoping you’ll drop your change into the red kettle. The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign is in full swing, and if you can spare a couple hours, volunteering is a great way to give back this season. Red Kettle donations provide meals, warm beds, and hope to those who need it most, and the money raised in each location stays local.

Kettles are present in many locations throughout Western New York, mostly set up in the lobbies of stores, and each location needs a number of volunteers throughout the season to keep the campaign going. Families, church groups, and people of all ages are invited to help ring the bells this season.

Interested volunteers can call Love INC. at (716) 592-3761 to schedule a two-hour shift at one of three Springville locations: one indoors at Tops, and two outdoors by the exits at Wal-Mart.
