The Salamanca Garden Club will hold its next meeting on Monday, July 14 at 7 p.m. at the United Congregational Methodist Church at 134 Broad St. in Salamanca. An exciting evening is planned with presenter Sally Cunningham. She will be presenting an informative program on hummingbirds and displaying plants that will attract them. Cunningham is a CNLP, lecturer, author, past director of National Garden Festival in Buffalo, and TV and radio personality. The public is invited to attend this delightful program. It is free.

Members need to make plans for two upcoming events. The first will be a field trip to Henry’s Cutting Garden and Lasting Dreams Daylilies Display Garden and Nursery on Wednesday, July 16 beginning at 9:30 a.m. Details and signups will be discussed at the meeting.

The second event is the Annual Flower Show on Saturday, July 26. Plans will be finalized. Volunteers are needed, as many new activities will be included this year. The public is certainly invited to the July 6 Flower Show.
