In honor of our good friend Bob McCarthy, The Rotary Club of Ellicottville, donated $250 to the Ellicottville Historical Society.  Bob would always make sure that a portion of the funds raised by Rotary went to the Ellicottville Historical Society.  Jim Salamone commented that the Rotary will continue with Bob’s tradition of supporting this great group as we feel it is an integral part of our community.

The Ellicottville Historical Society & Museum started in September of 1956 and was formed for the purpose of studying & preserving the historical record of the Ellicottville and vicinities. The Historical Society holds meetings every second Wednesday evening from May through October on various historical topics. The Rotary is proud to help the society continue to fulfill their mission of studying and preserving our local history for generations to come.

The Rotary Club of Ellicottville meets at 5:30 p.m. every second Wednesday at the American Legion. We welcome new members and extend an invitation to attend a meeting to get a feel for our mission.
