Last weekend, Realty USA opened its Ellicottville office at 34 Washington Street and Fall Festival was a great introduction to what promises to be a busy season for this family-owned real estate company!
Brenda Bacon, the managing broker of both the Ellicottville and Arcade offices, is excited for Realty USA to serve the southern tier in their new office. “We’re a full-service real estate company,” explained Bacon, “which means we serve first-time home buyers as well as individuals interested in vacation homes, commercial real estate and vacant land. We do it all!”
The company has offices throughout western and upstate New York as well as in Pennsylvania.
Bacon, who has been a licensed broker since 1982, brings many years of real estate experience to Ellicottville. A native of Arcade, Bacon was part of her own family’s real estate business, Wolfer Realty, for almost 20 years, and has been a part of Realty USA since 2001.
“Realty USA really cares about its customers,” she said, noting that its focus on customer service starts at the top with the company CEO and broker Merle Whitehead. “He is definitely hands-on. He was here helping us get settled into our new office,” she said.
Bacon is excited to be managing a great team of real estate agents at the new office, many of whom are familiar faces in Ellicottville. Agents Tina Dillon, Samantha Timkey, Christie Wiser, Claire Flannery and her assistant Mariah Thomas, have all worked in local real estate for several years. Bacon is also seeking additional sales associates to join her in the Ellicottville office; those interested can call her at (716) 699-4695.
According to Bacon, Realty USA is unique in that it has the distinction of being the number one real estate company in western New York while still maintaining its hometown, “local identity.”
“Basically, we want people to know that we’re real people,” explained Bacon. “We’re from the area and we love what makes this place unique. Meeting clients’ needs comes first for us—we’re really invested in helping them reach their goals.”
Realty USA offers a variety of in-house services to help make the home buying and selling processes as uncomplicated as possible, including in-house financing through First Priority Mortgage, which can assist home buyers with all kinds of home loans including VA and USDA loans. Realty USA is committed to helping customers even before they’re ready to buy a home. Bacon explained that Realty USA can help future buyers create a financial plan for purchasing a home, even if they’re not ready at the moment. In fact, the Ellicottville office will soon be hosting home buyer seminars to help clients create a plan, understand the home buying process and learn about changes in federal regulations.
Although resort properties comprise some of Realty USA’s Ellicottville business, Bacon emphasizes her company’s full range of services for first-time home buyers who are looking for a place to raise a family. Realty USA has a complete online listing of its properties, where home buyers can see what possibilities the area offers, whether they’re looking for their first home or a seasonal home.
Agent Tina Dillon also emphasized that the company’s range of marketing tools and nationwide exposure are very valuable tools for clients who are listing their property for sale.
Realty USA’s Ellicottville office is open seven days per week during the following hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Bacon encourages potential home buyers and sellers to contact the office at (716) 699-4695 or visit www.realtyusa.com.
