The “Christmas in Ellicottville” weekend kicked off Nov. 23 and continued through Nov. 25 when visitors enjoyed old-fashioned Christmas activities. Families from all over the area participated in a full schedule of activities geared for children including meeting the Jolly old Elf himself, fire truck rides with Santa, face painting, horse-drawn wagon rides, ornament making, interactive children’s activities, cookie decorating and meeting a real reindeer. On Friday night, the Ellicottville Sound Chorus provided evening entertainment as the Community Christmas Tree was lit.
