Ellicottville’s Nannen Arboretum will host the new Night Lights, opening May 15, where guests can enjoy the natural world combined with unique lighting, artwork and entertainment. Night Lights at Ellicottville’s Nannen Arboretum is created by SitlerHQ, the same group behind the popular Night Lights at the Gardens at the Buffalo & Erie County Botanical Gardens, Night Lights at Griffis Sculpture Park in Ashford and Night Lights at The Heron in Sherman. Using primarily LED lighting, the Night Lights crews spend up to two weeks transforming landscapes.

The entertainment schedule includes the folk-rock duo of John & Mary from 10,000 Maniacs on May 17, The Observers on May 24, and a drum circle on May 16. More entertainment announcements will be made in the upcoming weeks. The event also will feature local visual artists creating works on-site and displaying their creations.

The Ellicottville Rotary Club will be on hand to host a snack bar, as well as lend volunteer support to the event.

Night Lights will run May 15–17, May 22–25, and May 29–31. Show hours are 7:30–10 p.m. nightly. Tickets can be purchased at the front gate of the Arboretum. Admission is $8 for adults and teens, free for kids 12 and under with an accompanying adult. The Nannen Arboretum is located at the Town Center building at 28 Parkside Drive in Ellicottville.
