The Nannen Arboretum Society is seeking volunteers to help clean up its grounds following damage caused by the recent snow and wind storms.

Clean days have been scheduled for Friday, April 20, Saturday, May 12 and Thursday, May 17 from 9 a.m. to noon each day. In case of rain or snow, the clean up day will be rescheduled.

Volunteers are asked to dress appropriately for the weather and bring their favorite pruning tool if possible. Pizza will be provided around noon.

In addition, the Nannen Arboretum Society and volunteers have regular work days every Monday from 9:30 a.m. to noon. The society will be in “clean up mode” in the early weeks but are also looking for volunteers to assist in other areas such as the Carolyn Lowe Herb Garden.

A volunteer recruitment day is scheduled for June 25 at 9:30 a.m. at the arboretum.
