Fall Festival is almost here! With just one more week to wait, the Village is gearing up for its biggest festival of the year, which will draw thousands of visitors from all over the region.
On Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 7 and 8, the Village streets will be filled to the brim with vendors selling their wares and showcasing their businesses. The annual arts and crafts show lines Jefferson, Monroe and Washington Streets, and with a huge array of businesses showing off their goods and services, it’s something not to be missed.
One new vendor making an appearance in the Village this year is HoliMont. “Festival attendees can play the Tiki Toss at our tent upon completing a brief survey for a chance to win HoliMont prizes,” explained HoliMont’s Marketing Director, Greg Culver. “We will be in the tent all day Saturday and Sunday.”
The folks at City Garage are gearing up for Fall Fest by…tie dyeing.
“This year’s theme for Fall Fest is totally tie dyed. We’ve been doing custom tie dyes for our Telestock during the winter. People have caught wind of the awesome designs and bright colors. We will have a tent in front of the store full of hand spun one off CG tie dyes,” explained City Garage Manager Trey Clauss.
In addition, City Garage will be holding their annual tent sale, along with Mud Sweat and Gears and Dekdebruns. “Our tent sale will be business as usual… unloading deals on last season products and even some current year product will be on sale for the 2 weekend sale,” Clauss said. The sale will take place both this weekend and next at the corner of Washington and Jefferson Streets.
Chances are, your favorite Ellicottville business will be offering something special all weekend long to celebrate the festival. Check out company Facebook pages to start making your plan or just stop on down and wing it!
