Fifteen years ago this year, my sister and brother-in-law got married at Holiday Valley. After the ceremony by the Main Lodge, there were chairlift rides to the top of Mardi Gras, followed by the reception at the then-newly-constructed Yodeler Lodge. It was one of the first times I had ever been to the resort, and I remember thinking how beautiful it all was, and how the guests would always remember this wedding because it was so breathtaking and unique. (Seriously—how many times have you gotten to ride a chairlift at a wedding?!)

Since then, trends in decor, dresses, cakes and music have come and gone, but one thing has surely stayed the same—the beauty of Ellicottville as a backdrop for one of the most special days of your life.
