Since 1959, nature enthusiasts have gathered at Allegany State Park to enjoy a weekend of informal field trips, including birding, wildflowers, pond life, mammals, butterflies, fungi, family nature walks and more! This year the annual event takes place May 30 through June 1.

There are evening tent programs on Friday and Saturday, followed by owl prowls and stargazing, plus early morning bird walks and bird banding demonstrations! There will be music for the whole family during the chicken barbeque on Saturday.

The event is sponsored by Buffalo Audubon, Jamestown Audubon, Presque Isle Audubon and Burroughs Nature Club. Weekend admission is $40 for adults or $20 per day, and $5 for ages 5–18.
