If you’re tired of watching all the fun on the slopes from the deck, make 2015 the year you finally learn to ski or snowboard! January is National Learn a Snowsport Month and there’s no better place to learn that snowsport than on the slopes right here in Ellicottville.
At Holiday Valley, take advantage of the resort’s Learn to Ski or Ride Package for $60 all season long. (Or make it a private lesson for $126.) The package includes a one and a half-hour beginner’s lesson, beginner’s area lift ticket and rental equipment. Does nighttime work better for you? Night Learn to Ski/Snowboard packages are available with one-hour lessons at 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Register at the Rental Shop for $40.
If you’re age 12 or older, check out Holiday Valley’s 1-2-3 Go Skiing package for only $185. It includes three ski or snowboard lessons, beginner rental equipment and three lift tickets.
If you already know how to ski or snowboard, check out lessons for intermediate or advanced, and improve your skills this season, with several options available all season long.
The Learn to Ski/Snowboard Better package, offered daily at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., includes an all-area lift ticket, equipment rentals and a one- and-a-half hour group lesson for $99.
Of course, for the eager kids out there, ages 3-11, Holiday Valley offers a huge array of lessons and packages for all abilities, especially designed for the younger set.
Can you get away mid-week? Not only will you enjoy a thinner crowd, but during the month of January, visit mid-week and get a screaming deal by getting two Learn to Ski or Ride packages, for ages 12 and up, for the price of one. The only thing better than learning something new is learning it with a friend or family member!
Check out the January Learn to Ski/Ride lodging package at the Inn at Holiday Valley. Stay mid-week at the Inn (Sunday night–Thursday nights) and get a free Learn to Ski or Ride package for all first timers in your room. Available for two adults and up to two children, ages 6-17. (Excludes Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015.)
With a variety of lessons and packages available all week long, throughout the day, and for everyone ages 3 and up, you’ll be on your way to enjoying your time on the slopes even more. Whether you choose group or private lessons, Holiday Valley’s instructors work hard to make sure your goals are met.
