Holiday Valley Resort hosted the 14th annual Ellicottville Memorial Library Pro Am Golf Tournament on Tuesday, July 5. The tournament had 84 players, divided into 21 teams and raised over $7500 to support the Library.

Kirk Stauffer, Professional at Pine Acres Country Club, shot a 5 under par 70 for a score of 65 to win the professional individual prize. Second place was awarded to Holiday Valley’s Steven Carney with a score of 72. The tournament format was 2 best balls of 4. First in the team results with a score of 117 was Park Country Club’s Professional, Eddie Suchora and his team of Scott Dodson, Jim Carls and Mike Wimer. The second place team with a score of 124 was Holiday Valley’s Steve Carney and his team of Franco Brady (Holiday Valley’s Food and Beverage General Manager), Kevin Murray and Larry Dominesi. Third place went to Joe Bock from Seneca Hickory Stick, Joe Wright, Dana Hall and Marc Caster with a score of 126.

The day included lunch at the half-way point hosted by Library volunteers, and then wrapped up with a dinner in the Main Lodge. The Pro Am is the Library’s largest fundraiser of the year. Presenting Sponsor was Kelar Atlantic, LLC and Shults Automotive Group was a major sponsor. Shults donated a Toyota Corolla which was raffled off and won by Diane Hall.
