Ellicottville’s Logan Fredrickson repeated in first place for the second time in as many giant slalom meets for the Eagles’ alpine ski team Wednesday.

Logan and her twin sister Hayly Fredrickson took first and second, followed by another pair of ECS sisters, CeCe and Emmylu Carls in third and fourth, all ahead of their Western New York competitors from Gow and Williamsville, at Holiday Valley. Logan led the way with a total time of 48.88 after a first run of :24.81 and second of :24.07, while her sister had a :51.24 (:25.88, :25.36).

The Ellicottville boys also took first and second, with Eric Shattenberg and Adrian deOrbe, and fourth and fifth (Mitchell Azcarate, Emmett Coolidge) from a field of 10 racers.

Shattenberg marked a total time of :51.17 (:25.93, :25.24) and deOrbe had a :52.24 (:26.16, :26.08).
