The Salamanca Garden Club invites all persons interested in gardening to come to their Annual Flower and Art Show on Saturday July 30 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the United Congregational Methodist Church at 134 Broad Street. Educational opportunities are also being provided this year. Informative workshops will include Cooking with Herbs at noon, creation of a twig and vine basket to be used as a container in your landscape at 1pm and Violet Care at 2pm. Children’s Make and Take workshops will be on-going from 11 a.m.  to 2 p.m. Children are welcome to attend with an adult.

All visitors will enjoy the floral displays and competition supplied by Garden Club members. Seven area artists will have their wares on display and for sale. They have created everything from oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings to greeting cards, felted items to photography, quilted items to cement leaves.

Visitors may participate in a 50-50 drawing and Chinese Auction.

Sinn Valley Gardens will have perennials for sale.

There will be free refreshments.
