There are still four nights left for community members to enjoy free live music in Springville. Sponsored by the town of Concord and the village of Springville, the Thursday night series brings live music to summertime in Fiddler’s Green Park.

Music genres for the series range from country and bluegrass to German and Irish folk. Local favorites such as Paul Zittel and Pure Country and Homemade Jam return each year.

This month, The Mercantile Musicians, Springville’s own country and gospel band, will play Aug. 4. They’re followed by Low Blue Flame, on Aug. 11, Homemade Jam on Aug. 18 and The Road Runners, who will close out the series on Aug. 25.

The concerts are held every Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Fiddler’s Green Park, on the corner of North Buffalo and Mechanic streets. The series is free and open to the public. In the event of rain, concerts are moved to the Concord Town Hall, 86 Franklin St.
