Ellicottville swept a softball doubleheader of Salamanca on Saturday, 5-0 and 9-1, to improve to 3-1.

In the opener, Courtney Sexton picked up her first varsity win, yielding one hit while striking out five. Lisa Krotz had two hits to lead the Eagles.

In Game 2, Cam Earley and Evie Cortez homered, and Malorie Chamberlain tallied three hits to key Ellicottville. Jada Jimerson had three hits and Kamryn Cook two for Salamanca (0-2).

Panama 10, Ellicottville 1

Ashlyn Harvey struck out nine and scattered seven hits and Abi Lisciandro had four hits, including a home run, to power Panama Friday.

Madalyn Bowen, Elle Angeletti and Harvey all added two hits for the Panthers.

Ellicottville 4, Clymer 3

Sarah Sheffield and Lisa Krotz both had two hits to key Ellicottville in its season-opener Thursday, April 12.

Allison Przywara earned the win, scattering six hits while striking out two and walking only one. Tori Beckwith and Sydney Beal each had two tooks while Erica Gustafson (7 hits, 5 strikeouts, 1 walk) took the loss for Clymer.
