Cattaraugus County hosted the Western New York District 4-H Fashion Revue at Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) in Ellicottville on Saturday, June 1.
Twenty-one participants from Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Wyoming and Orleans counties modeled garments that they created.
Leah Olejniczak, a member of the Creative Cardinals 4-H Club in Randolph, represented Cattaraugus County in the junior division showing a summer shirt and shorts outfit which she showed at the County Fashion Revue on May 9.
The participants will exhibit their projects again at their respective county fairs where some may be selected for exhibition at the New York State Fair.
In Cattaraugus County the Family and Consumer Science Committee offers workshops and individual instruction to 4-H members interested in learning to sew and advancing their skills.
