At the recent annual meeting of the Ellicottville Chamber of Commerce, the chamber filled openings for four board members.

New to the board to serve a three-year term is Jessica Gilbert, owner of Ava Grace Fashions, located at 24 Washington St. in Ellicottville.

“The chamber was fortunate to have several excellent new candidates, but ultimately Jessica’s proven track record in community service was the deciding factor for the nominating committee,” said Arleen Solly, Chamber President.

The chamber is also happy to have three board members agree to stand for re-election for another three-year term, including Peter Kreinheder, of Ellicottville Brewing Company; Jim Carls, of Dina’s; and William Krysick, of Krysick and Company.

“Jessica has been involved with numerous chamber committees, attends the membership meetings on a regular basis and volunteers her assistance whenever asked, so she is already up to speed,” said Brian McFadden, Executive Director. “We all look forward to Jessica joining the team.”

The board of directors also includes Solly of Kazoo II; Dennis Eshbaugh, Holiday Valley Resort; Cathy Pritchard, ERA Team VP; Jean Kirsch, Jefferson Inn; Sean Lowes, City Garage; Mike Nickolson, Silver Fox Restaurant & Nickolson Construction; Ed Youmans, HoliMont; and John Karassik, Ellicottville Kitchen Equipment.
