US Junior Nationals • Park City, Utah, March 12-16, 2014
Maggie Ryan made the trip out west fresh off her Eastern A Championship win, riding a hot streak. She has been training hard to fine tune her mogul runs, because as anyone who skis, the margin of victory is razor thin.
Thursday saw bluebird skies over Park City, where Maggie’s qualification run landed her in 5th place over the field of 59 females. Maggie made the cut to finals where she finished in the Top 10 in 8th place.
Saturday Maggie won her first Dual, and moved on to round 2, when she injured her shoulder. That forced her to withdraw from the rest of competition. She is optimistic she will be ready to go for US Nationals in a few weeks. Nice job on your Top 10 Maggie!
