The Eagles Boys Varsity soccer team, defeated Randolph by a score of 3 -0.  Scoring for the Eagles were Jack Haley with two goals and Cam Eddy with the other.  Avery Seiflein made four saves in net. The team also defeated Maple Grove by the score of 3 -0.  Scoring for the Eagles were Robert Sawicki, Cam Eddy and Matt DiDonato.  Avery Seiflein made five saves in net. The team is now 4-2-2 on the season.

In Girls Varsity Soccer, on Sept. 14 at Genesee Valley the Eagles won 4-0. Senior Morgan Zlockie had two goals and Shelby Imhoff and Jenna Aldrich each had one goal. Freshman Robin Freaney had two saves for the shutout.

The Eagles returned home on Sept. 17 and beat the Randolph Cardinals 5-2. Zlockie had three goals. The first of those was her 100th career goal.  Zlockie now has 102 total goals for her Varsity Soccer career at Ellicottville.

Also scoring for the Eagles were Aldrich and Brenna Cole with one goal each and Shelby Toth with one assist. Freaney had five saves for the win. The Eagles stand 4-2 overall and 2-1 in the league.

Titan Varsity Football lost a heartbreaker 28-20 to the Portville Panthers on Friday and now stand 2-1. The Titans were led offensively by senior Caleb Rinko, with more than 100 yards rushing, and sophomore Griffin Chudy in the receiving department. Defensively they were led by Liam Watt & Walter Woodarek.

The JV Football Titans won Monday night over Portville 28-14. They are now at 2-1.

The Ellicottville Little Eagles split with the Randolph Raiders on Saturday. The Pee Wees lost a hard fought battle 19-7 as Giancarlo Nuzzo put the only Eagle score on the board. They are now 3-1 overall. The Midgets continued their winning ways, beating the Raiders 27-13. Tallying scores for the Eagles were Logan Fuller, Clayton Rowland and Jordan Grinols. On the defensive side of the ball, J.P. Peplinski and Wyatt Chudy led the team in tackles. The midgets are now 4-0. The Eagles take on Little Valley this Saturday at home at 6 p.m.
