Open House Nov. 6, 7, 8

Take a step back in time and browse HomeWear, a quaint shop in the heart of downtown Springville, during their Holiday Open House. They will be serving refreshments, and lots of door prizes will be available.

The store will be completely transformed for an old-fashioned Christmas, accented with cozy brick walls, the original tin ceiling and antique cupboards brimming with country wares. The shop is overflowing with folk art and primitives, carrying the sights and smells of Christmas past and present.

Primitive trees, Santas, snowmen, delicious-smelling candles, rustic garlands and wreaths are just some of the items you’ll discover there.

Gift ideas include pottery, framed prints, signs, gameboards, lighting, textiles and much more.

HomeWear also carries in-stock wallpaper, specializing in folk art and country patterns, as well as Pratt & Lambert paint in colonial colors of Olde Village Paints.

Home Wear is located at 52 East Main Street in Springville.

The open house will be held for three days— Friday, Nov. 6 from 12-7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 7 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 8 from 12-4 p.m. (Not that the store will be closed from Nov. 2 through noon on Nov. 6 to get ready.) For more info, call 592-7012.
