Holiday Valley Resort, the Ellicottville Brewing Company and Southern Tier Brewery once again are hosting a weekend of beer and wine tasting opportunities Nov. 6-7, 2015.

The weekend begins Friday, Nov. 6 with the 10th annual Brew Masters Dinner, when beer and food will be paired by experts in their crafts for a dining and tasting extravaganza. This year’s theme is The Golden Age of Hollywood, paying homage to the “Tinsel Town” of the 40’s and 50’s. The event is an intimate Brew Master meet-and-greet and features emcee Michael Nugent (young Sinatra) who will inform and entertain throughout the evening. Brewers will be on hand to discuss each of their beers and explain the food pairing decisions.

The evening promises to be a “gastronomic exploration of unbelievable flavor combinations featuring nationally recognized craft beers and classic seasonally focused, locally sourced cuisine.”

The Brew Masters Dinner will be held at the Holiday Valley Lodge with hors d’oeuvres beginning at 6:00 p.m.  Food stations will open at 7 p.m.

Then on Saturday, Nov. 7, head back to the lodge for the 12th Annual Beer and Wine Festival from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Guests will be able to sample from among 100 hand-crafted beers from dozens of the best New York State and American craft breweries, and from New York wineries including the Winery of Ellicottville, Heron Hill Winery, Black Willow Winery, Merritt Estate Winery, Victorianbourg Wine Estate, Willow Creek, Gallo, Savage Winery, Amorici Vineyard and more.

Online ticket sales begin Saturday, Aug. 15 at Tickets for the Friday Brew Masters Dinner are $65 per person. Tickets for the Saturday Beer & Wine Festival are $52.50 per person. Tickets at the gate (if available) will be $60, but be warned, the festival sells out quickly.
