Art, Music and Fun!
An Ellicottville tradition returns this weekend with the Americana Folk Art & Music Fair, happening July 18-19 in the Ellicottville Village Square (Town Hall and Gazebo area). Bring the kids for this free and family-friendly event that features local artists showing their creations and demonstrating their crafts from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.
Check out artists presenting ceramics, folk art birdhouses, painting, photography, pottery, rustic furniture, stained glass, weaving and spinning, wood working and more, as well as the work of several young artists.
Don’t miss the live auction to benefit the Rotary Club of Ellicottville on Saturday at 2 p.m. featuring pieces of art from the fair merchants.
Saturday will also feature a quilting workshop and quilt show all day across Washington Street at the Episcopal Church.
Of course, what’s a fair without music? There will be entertainment in the Gazebo featuring Red Gray on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a surprise artist on Sunday.
No need to pack a lunch. The Rotary Club hot dog cart will be there, along with some great homemade baked goods for you to enjoy.
If you’re an artist and would like to be part of this great event, there’s still time to join in! Just show up early for the fair and set up a booth space. It’s free and open to artists of all ages—the only requirements are that the items being sold are made by the person selling them, and that one item is donated to the auction.
Stop by for a summer weekend of fun and creativity!
